Drones, weapons and slots are different choices

Drones provide automatic fire. Weapons can be mounted on train cars. Stations sell weapons, drone slots and buffs; the official feature list also includes different drone types.

A drone-slot purchase concerns drone capacity. A car merge concerns module slots. Do not assume these are the same upgrade or that their counts match.

Compare the offered item with the problem you want to solve: a weapon choice, drone capacity or a buff. This is an editorial checklist, not a tested damage ranking. Prices, damage values and a universal best weapon are outside this guide.

Drone achievement not triggering?

The developer hotfix fixes Rule of Two and Life Insurance, tied to obtaining two and five drones respectively. Update the game before retrying. These are achievement conditions from the hotfix, not a recommended drone count for every build.
