Where permanent progression fits

Use the permanent upgrade tree between runs. The official description says earned resources go toward improvements that strengthen future attempts. This is separate from spending station coins on the train you are currently building.

Which menu should you use?

• Want to change cars, weapons, drone slots or buffs during an attempt? Review the station offers.
• Want later attempts to start stronger? Review the permanent upgrade tree between runs.

The official description does not identify a complete node list, currency conversion or an optimal purchase order. Read the current in-game node description before committing resources.

A simple way to compare attempts

As an editorial learning exercise, note which permanent node you bought and what changed on the next attempt. Keep this separate from changes to the train during a run; otherwise it is hard to tell which choice helped.

Return to the beginner loop, or use Station 20 as a milestone rather than a guaranteed result.
